MBS Alumni - Mentoring Database
Welcome to the MBS Alumni - Mentoring Database, managed and administered by the MBS Incubator.
The MBS Incubator in conjunction with the Alumni Association has set up a directory of interested Alumni wishing to help and support early stage businesses and entrepreneurs from within the University of Manchester business family.
Our aim is to provide these companies with the wealth and experience of graduates of one the world's top business schools, in supporting the development and growth of businesses that are linked to the University of Manchester.
By creating this database the Incubator team can select, personally introduce and manage the relationship of mentors into selected businesses that will most benefit the individual and the business. The expertise and market knowledge of our Alumni mentors has proved extremely valuable to our emerging companies and we are most grateful for the advice and feedback they offer.
The Mentoring service will be:
- Business mentoring for high growth start ups
- Bespoke, high quality service – linking SMEs with MBS Alumni
- High sector relevant and highly targeted. Driven by the needs of the businesses (a demand-led service)
- Majority of interaction being short term advice rather than long term mentoring, though potentially leading to more formal commercial relationships

To register for the first time, please signup below with a new username and password. Your details will be used by the incubator team to match you with a start-up company; no details will be passed on without your prior consent.
Upon registration you will have the opportunity to provide a brief summary of yourself on the update page. There is also an upload CV function. This can be any word document: - it doesn't need to be a CV.
