The Business Information Service is dedicated to building close working relationships with local and national partners in the field of information provision. Our first major partner for the Eddie Davies Library is Proquest.

Proquest Information and Learning collects, organises and distributes 'value-added information' to the education sector. It specialises in the areas of business and economics, general reference, humanities, social sciences and STM content. The company develops a number of scholarly information databases in collaboration with 8,500 publishers world wide.

Proquest journals database provides global business and management abstracts and full text of journal articles from over 1500 titles, starting from 1986 onwards. We are delighted to be able to offer the benefits of this database as a new service to our alumni, both remotely and on-site for personal development, and to our BIS members, on-site.
