All electronic resources are provided by the John Rylands University Library. You can access a wide variety of information including company financials, broker reports, plus current and historical data from the leading financial markets. You can also access the latest market research reports, a wide variety of statistical data, plus electronic versions of the latest news, trade and academic publications.

How to access electronic resources
- Central username & password
Your central University of Manchester username & password, will provide access to the majority of the electronic library resources. Further information on this process is available from the John Rylands University Library.
- Individual usernames & passwords
Some of the databases require a database specific username and password to access. These are listed on the passwords page of the John Rylands University Library website.

- The University of Manchester VPN service
The VPN provides you with full network access from off-campus. When connected, your computer is assigned a University IP address; this removes the need to enter usernames & passwords when accessing many of our databases.
