Our PhD programme is full-time, studied over three years, and successful applicants will need a Masters degree and the desire to make a positive contribution to the School's impressive research reputation.
The Masters of Research in Management is a one year Master's degree which is designed to give students the opportunity to both develop their knowledge of specialist areas of business and management and develop the research skills essential for doctoral research. Many students who complete an MRes go on to apply to study a PhD.
The Masters of Philosophy is a one year postgraduate research degree. Students undertake a substantial research project and may undertake some of the research training available to PhD students. Applicants should hold a first class or upper second class UK Bachelors degree or equivalent.
We offer Master and doctoral programmes which focus on enterprise and entrepreneurship. Find out more about Enterprise Centre courses at Manchester Business School.
