Pre-application process

We are now recruiting the DBA intake for October 2017 entry.

To be considered for the DBA programme please send the following to

• Completed educational background checklist (which will be sent to you once you have downloaded a brochure)
• Current CV
• Summary of your intended research topic (approximately 3-4 pages). Please ensure the research summary includes detailed research questions and methodology, outlines how the work would extend the existing literature and contains academic referencing.

If you meet our entry criteria your details will be reviewed by the Programme Director and, subject to their approval, we will use your research summary to identify a potential supervisor who will then arrange an informal discussion with you (by telephone or Skype).

If the outcome of this discussion is successful you will be asked to submit a formal online application including a full 3000 word research proposal (guidelines for content will be provided). As part of the application process you may be asked to take part in a further interview with your potential supervisor. If you are not available for a face-to-face interview at Alliance MBS, a telephone or Skype interview will be arranged.
