What does this programme cover?
The Athlete Performance Pathways Programme has been created specifically to provide managers with the tools and techniques for managing high performance pathways and athlete support effectively. The programme provides intensive industry training, ensuring executives and managers can develop strategic management techniques specific to:

• talent identification
• development
• presentation

Who should attend?
The programme is typically suitable for performance directors and managers with a demonstrated background in high performance management including:

• High performance directors
• Athlete support service suppliers
• Regional, state, national or international sports organisations
• Professional sporting entities
• Community and voluntary groups
• Government and support agencies
• Consultants and suppliers to the sector.

What will I learn?
At the conclusion of the programme, you will have developed an understanding of and be equipped with tools for:

• the high performance environment
• improved ability to take a planned and systematic approach to athlete performance pathway management
• different high performance structures operating in the sector for Olympic and non-Olympic sports
• effective strategies for improving sport performance
• the importance of key support structures in the performance pathway
• effective management of support structures in the performance pathway.
