The scholarships for 2015 entry are currently under review and details will be added here once they are confirmed.

Loyalty Bursary

This is offered to students and alumni of The University of Manchester enrolling on one of our Masters courses in September 2015. To reward academic merit, we give a £3,000 award to those achieving a first class honours degree and £1,000 for an upper second class honours (2:1) degree. The bursary is deducted from the course tuition fee.

GREAT Britain ScholarshipGREAT Britain Scholarship for India 2015

Manchester Business School, in partnership with the British Council, is delighted to offer one scholarship worth £7,500 to applicants from India. The award is for a student who will be starting one of our taught masters courses in September 2015.

Who are the scholarships available to?

All Indian applicants will be considered for this Scholarship.

What is the application process?

We will automatically look at Indian students who have applied for one of our taught Masters courses so no separate application for this award is required.

What is the Scholarship criteria?

Our decision will be made on academic merit and we will be looking for excellent grades from a highly ranked institution.

What is the deadline?

We will consider all Indian students who have applied by 30 April 2015.

When will the award be announced?

The successful candidate will be notified before the end of May 2015.

Masters scholarships for UK/EU/international students 2015 entry

Scholarships for 2015 entry are yet to be finalised. In 2014, we offered a limited number of scholarships available across all our Masters courses. The scholarship awards were £5,000 each towards the cost of the course tuition fee. They were available on a rolling basis so we advised students to apply early.

Who are the scholarships available to?

All UK/EU/international applicants who hold an offer of a place to study on one of our Masters programmes.

What is the application process?

All applicants who hold an offer will automatically be considered for a scholarship. There is no scholarship application process.

What is the Scholarship criteria?

Decisions will be made on merit and not financial need. Scholarships will be awarded to applicants who:

  • Are able to demonstrate excellent academic performance.
  • Are on track to obtain, or who have graduated with a 1st UK undergraduate degree or overseas equivalent.
  • Have previously studied at a University with a strong academic reputation and ranking.
  • Have the potential to contribute and enrich all aspects of the Masters programme and the diverse academic and cultural profile of the Masters class.

When will the scholarship awards be announced?

Scholarships will normally be awarded at the point of offer. Early applicants will be contacted by mid-February if successful.

Masters scholarships for US residents 2015 entry

There are five scholarships available across all our Masters courses, with a value of £10,000 towards the cost of the course tuition fee. The scholarships are available on a rolling basis so early application is advisable.

Who are the scholarships available to?

All US residents who hold an offer to study on one of our Masters programmes.

What is the application process?

All eligible applicants who hold an offer will be automatically considered for a scholarship. There is no scholarship application process.

What is the Scholarship Criteria?

Decisions will be made on merit and not financial need. Scholarships will be awarded to applicants who:

  • Are able to demonstrate excellent academic performance.
  • Are are on track to obtain, or who have graduated with a minimum high 2.1 or 1st UK undergraduate degree or overseas equivalent.
  • Have previously studies at a University with a strong academic reputation and ranking.
  • Have the potential to contribute and enrich all aspects of the Masters programme and the diverse academic and cultural profile of the Masters class

When will the scholarship awards be announced?

Scholarships will normally be awarded at the point of offer. Early applicants will be contacted by the end of January if successful.

Chevening Scholarships

These are available to high calibre international students with the personal intellect and interpersonal qualities necessary for leadership.
