Alliance Manchester Business School’s HR Issues Forum, in partnership with CIPD, this month brings together Helge Hoel, Professor of Organisational Behaviour, AMBS; Dr Anne McBride, Senior Lecturer in Employment Studies, AMBS; and Roger Chapman from organisational and people development specialist IDG and Investors in People.

Led by Professor Hoel and Dr McBride, in 2015 the British Standards Institute launched launched the BS 76000 standard that says people are inherently valuable and are an organisation’s biggest asset. The standard provides a framework for any organisation to put processes in place that will help support that relationship. To facilitate the practical application of the standard, the code of Practice for Diversity and Inclusion has also been developed.

This event will give you the opportunity to hear from experts on implementing the Standard and Code within your organisation, with a focus on embedding and improving diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
