Biography

Research Fellow and member of the European Work and Employment Research Centre. She has been a member of ESRC/Medical Research Council Commissioning Panel for the Innovative Health Technologies Programme: Research Advisory Board Member of ESRC Cultural Industries and the City: Innovation, Creativity and Competitiveness (ESRC British Cities Programme). Independent evaluator on new technology and learning for PROMAT/Human Resources & Education Dept, Northern Province Government, South Africa: External examiner for Doctoral Commission, Divisio de Ciencas de la Educacio, University of Barcelona.

Teaching and Research interests

Current research interests are with methods of capturing new skills and emerging occupations in distributed environments including developing methods for handling the fusion of disparate bodies of legacy tacit knowledge in the convergence of occupations driven by technological change.
