Reputation, Brand and Competitiveness Group
The Reputation Brand and Competitiveness Group at MBS is the largest group in any business school to focus on the relatively new area of corporate reputation and communication. There are five faculty members: Gary Davies, Paul Jackson, Rosa Chun, Rui da Silva and Stuart Roper. Rui and Stuart are members of the marketing Group at MBS and the others members of the strategy group. Working with them are a number of doctoral students. The work of the group covers a wide range of topics, from the branding of nations, to corporate social responsibility, from the reputation of political parties to the effect of littering on brand image, from the effect of mergers on reputation and employees to the role of reputation in on-line retailing.
The group are closely associated with a specialist masters degree, the MSc in Corporate Communication and Reputation Management.
Their publications include a number of books and papers in leading journals. They offer research and consultancy to companies and short courses for employees.
