Leading economist joins Manchester Institute of Innovation Research (MIIR)
Manchester Institute of Innovation Research has appointed world-renowned economist Professor Richard Nelson.
Professor Nelson’s seminal work, An Evolutionary Theory of Economic Change (Nelson & Winter, 1982), has generated a multitude of research programmes and is considered one of the most influential academic contributions to improving economic and social conditions across the world.

The annual PREST Foresight training course provides an intensive, practically-orientated introduction to foresight for those who might be involved in foresight activities, whether as a sponsor, organiser or practitioner.
