Research Interests

Anne is a member of NIHR GM-CLAHRC (Greater Manchester Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (http://clahrc-gm.nihr.ac.uk/). This involves working with a range of practitioners in a variety of settings and studying the employment relations implications of different models of care. She is also a member of MUNROS, an FP7 research project based at the University of Aberdeen that is studying the impact of new roles for health professionals across 9 countries and developing a needs-based approach to workforce planning http://www.abdn.ac.uk/munros/. In addition, Anne is a member of a Bangor University research team funded by NIHR to conduct a realist synthesis of the implementation and impact of nursing workforce planning and deployment technologies. Anne is currently chairing the drafting panel for the first Code of Practice associated with the BSI Standard, BS 76000 Human resource - Valuing people- Management system - Requirements and guidance: Diversity and Social Inclusion http://www.bsigroup.com/en-GB/about-bsi/media-centre/press-releases/2015/july/New-people-management-standard-is-published-/#.VwegjDHCtTF.
