After an academic and non-academic career, Laszlo Czaban joined MBS in 1993 as a research fellow on a 3-year research programme. After being a lecturer at Leeds University Business School, he returned to Manchester Business School in 1999. He became senior lecturer in International Management and Organizational Analysis in 2003. Laszlo Czaban published articles (for example in Organization Studies and Journal of Management Studies) and presented conference papers on the transformation in Eastern Europe - EU accession countries in particular, but also on Ukraine and Estonia. Besides publishing on macro and firm level transformation in transition economies, he started to publish on institutional influences on firm behaviours. Laszlo Czaban is also associate director of the MBS Incubator, responsible for academic matters related to the incubator.
