Biography

Terry Robinson joined MBS in January 2000 after holding Lectureships at Lancaster and Northumbria and a research post at Liverpool.

Research Interests

Terry's main research to date has concentrated on empirical investigation of the effects of regulation in the utility industries. He has conducted econometric studies of regulation in the British electricity supply industry and the gas industry.

He has recently changed the focus of his academic activity to the economics of sport and football (soccer) in particular. He would be interested to hear from UG and PG students interested in pursuing research in this area.

Additional Information

Terry's main teaching interests are in the principles of economics, the economics of sport and applied econometrics.
