I am currently a Senior Leader in the Procurement space working at the Co-op. My main responsibilities are leading on HR and Professional Services spend.

What are the main leadership challenges faced by your organisation which prompted you to book onto the course?

I wanted to join this course because within my organisation, there is a high pace of delivery and change, as well as a competitive market for talent and lots of changing expectations as part of my role.

What key skills and knowledge do you feel you have gained from studying on the course?

Since studying on the Psychology of Leading People course, I have gained a greater appreciation of the role which human psychology plays in both colleague and leader experience and their organisational outcomes.

I have also developed a sharpened sense of awareness on contributing factors to challenges!

Were they any particular elements to the course you enjoyed the most?

I can honestly say I enjoyed the whole course! I think my favourite part was learning from both the course lead, Robin Martin, and the other delegates that were attending the course - the collaboration and networking opportunities were wonderful!

This course will help me to improve my job design, and will also enhance my interpersonal relationships within my organisation.
