Employability

Competition in the graduate job market has intensified in recent years. Now more than ever our students need to differentiate themselves and stand out from the crowd.

Our motto is ‘Original Thinking Applied’ and our courses will challenge the way you think. You are encouraged to contest, to innovate, to step outside your comfort zone.

Selected course units offer exemptions from professional bodies and our Management / Management (Specialisms), International Business, Finance and Economics, Accounting and IT Management for Business courses all include optional work placements, giving you the opportunity to spending a year working in industry between your second and final year of study. Besides the money that you earn during this year, you gain practical experience that can be invaluable both in your final-year studies and when competing for graduate jobs.

Our International Management and International Management with American Business Studies students spend their third year on an academic exchange overseas. We have 50 exchange partners across 18 countries - the world is your oyster.

Back on campus you will benefit from a wealth of opportunities to lead teams, join student societies, work part-time, apply to summer internships, volunteer, learn a new language, the list is endless.
