MBS has eighteen years of experience in receiving undergraduate exchange students from all around the world, contributing to a student body which is already highly international. Our MBS International Office is responsible for the coordination of all activities related to establishing and maintaining undergraduate exchange agreements with overseas universities.

Each year, we send and receive around 300 undergraduate exchange students from some fifty exchange partners who have each been carefully selected from among the top business and management schools across the globe covering Europe, South East Asia, Australasia, the United States and Canada. See the International Exchange Partners section for a full list of our current exchange partners. The MBS Undergraduate International Office provides support and advice to both incoming and outgoing students on all aspects of their exchange experience supported by the University of Manchester International Society and the MBS International Society.

Incoming exchange students are expected to take a workload equivalent to that of a typical Manchester undergraduate.  Due to the high levels of demand for undergraduate exchange places at MBS, we are unable to take students other than those who are nominated by our partner institutions.

MBS provides a cosmopolitan international environment, with around one-third of full-time undergraduates arriving from outside the UK. The exchange programmes at MBS make a further valuable contribution to the culturally diverse environment, and enhance the learning experience of all students.

We look forward to welcoming you to Manchester and to the Manchester Business School.
