This invitation only workshop brings together leading scholars from across the globe for a focused set of paper sessions organised around four core themes: infrastructure, governance, knowledge, and everyday life.

The Square Kilometre Array (SKA) project is an international effort to build the world’s largest radio telescope with eventually over one square kilometre (one million square metres) of collecting area spread out over thousands of kilometres in Africa and Australia. It began in 1993 as a “grass-roots” endeavour in the radio astronomy community pooling ideas and resources from across the world, and is now in the final stages of design with construction of the first phase due to start in 2020.

The event provides insight into our leadership and management programmes which are accessible using apprenticeship levy funding - the MSc Management Practice and the Global MBA.

This event welcomes Piers Linney, who is well known for his television appearances as an investor on ‘Dragons’ Den’ and ‘The Secret Millionaire’, also has a professional background in law, investment banking and fund management.
