Carolyn Fairbairn, Director-General, Confederation of British Industry (CBI) Carolyn joined the CBI as Director-General in November 2015. She spent her early career at McKinsey, before taking on a range of senior leadership roles in the media industry. As a partner at McKinsey, Carolyn was a leader of the firm’s media practice. As BBC Director of Strategy, she led the BBC’s digital strategy and ran its transmission arm. Carolyn was also a member of the Executive board of ITV for four years.

Sir Richard Lambert is Chairman of the British Museum. He was editor of the Financial Times from 1991 to 2001; a member of the Bank of England Monetary Policy Committee from 2003 to 2006, and Director General of the CBI from 2006 to 2011. He served as Chancellor of Warwick University from 2008 to 2016.
