Alliance MBS cements position in Executive Education world elite

Alliance Manchester Business School is ranked 4th in the UK for customised executive education, by the Financial Times.

Globally, the School has risen 15 places to 31st and is ranked 15th in Europe.

The FT’s 2018 rankings rate the best customised executive education providers worldwide. Programme providers are measured on participant and client satisfaction, as well as growth in revenue, international reach and faculty diversity.

Alliance MBS has been designing and delivering research-based Executive Education programmes for over 50 years. It works with corporate clients across a broad range of sectors, helping participants to further develop their skills and thrive by navigating future challenges and taking advantage of opportunities.

Programmes are co-created with each client, which allows organisations to tailor each course to meet the individual needs of their business and employees.

As a research-led business school, participants benefit from the expertise of Alliance MBS academics many of whom have extensive industry experience – marrying the latest research with commercial perspectives.

The School delivers programmes for national and international clients such as BAE Systems, InTouch Group, Bentley Motors, Manchester Airport Group, United Utilities and the NHS Leadership Academy; alongside developing innovative programmes for new partners such as Northern, CMSPI and Zeelandia.

Alliance MBS also has a strong track record of supporting business and government across China. Delegates from organisations such as China Baowu Steel Group, The China Ministry of Finance, The Agricultural Bank of China and the China Development Bank have benefited from working with the School’s academics and industry practitioners.

Most recently it was successful in its bid to host the UK China Infrastructure Academy, delivered in partnership with the Department for International Trade, which supports senior Chinese businesses and government officials wishing to invest in UK infrastructure projects.

Professor Fiona Devine, Head of Alliance MBS, said: “Rising 15 places in 12 months is testament to the strength of our client partnerships. It is gratifying to see these established relationships grow and enable us to deliver even more successful outcomes for our clients. Our position in the ranking confirms our position as a leading global business school and reflects the hard work of the Executive Education Team. This position will be further enhanced when our custom-built world class Executive Education Centre opens in July.”
