The Manchester Innovation Forum, a partnership between the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research at Manchester Business School and Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, hosted its second workshop on Thursday May 14 2015.

The workshop, Creating innovation and value along the supply chain, will examine how clients, users and suppliers can work together to generate innovative new products, services and business models to mutual benefit.

Drawing on research conducted at Manchester Institute of Innovation Research (MIoIR), together with the experience of local businesses, this is the second of three planned Manchester Innovation Forum events in 2015.

Dr Andrew James, Director for Engagement at MIoIR, says: “The Forum was a great success. It brought together more than forty members of the business community and academics to share experience and ideas. ”

Clive Memmott, Chief Executive of Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, said: “This event will build on what is becoming a great partnership between Greater Manchester business and the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research.  The Manchester innovation Forum is going to become a don’t miss event in the Manchester business calendar.”
