Manchester 3.0!

Starting third year feels somewhat weird! While the memories of finishing high school and leaving for the UK are still afresh, the excitement of entering the so-called ‘real world’ has started to kick in. These past two years in Manchester have made me experience a fair share of ups and downs; but I believe, that is what has made Manchester my second home.

Well, now that I have exhausted my philosophical capabilities, I must move on to the more exciting bit. I spent half of my summer interning in London, and the other half interning at a company in India. This way, I was able to spend half of the summer with my family. It is true that industrial experience will teach you much more than you expected it to. This is not just in terms of industry-specific knowledge, but also in terms of managing your time better.

Before returning to Manchester, my family and I travelled to Scotland. This included a few days in Edinburgh and the rest in the Scottish Highlands. This was my first time visiting Scotland, and it definitely did not disappoint. After this, we headed back to London for a couple of days, where my sister is starting her postgraduate degree.

I arrived in Manchester the day before classes started. The next two weeks would involve going to numerous lectures and trying out different modules, before I can finalize.

It was great to once again see the rush on Oxford Road, and feel the excitement of the new year. It feels great to be a part of this incredible community; it feels great to be back home.

I came to study management because I love business, and want a degree that gives a detailed understanding of how businesses function.
