MEnt student and Masood Enterprise Centre academic’s blockchain research published

Current MEnt Master of Enterprise student Lewis Laiden and Masood Enterprise Centre’s Kassandra Papadopoulou have had their research paper ‘Parameters for Building Sustainable Blockchain Application Initiatives’ published in The Journal of the British Blockchain Association.

The paper looks at the issues of blockchain applications becoming more sustainable and reliable. Blockchain initiative failure rates are at 90% to various influencing factors and this is deterring innovators in this field.

The research addresses the issues by compiling and outlining the various key variables that need to be considered as a set of parameters for blockchain initiators. The paper categorises variables into blockchain-related and business-related categories, outlining consideration points for each of the variables.
