The competition is open to all current undergraduate and postgraduate students and researchers from across The University of Manchester. You can enter as an individual or a team of up to six members.

Ideas that have commercial potential via new products or services (but wouldn’t primarily fall within one of the other 4 categories).
Ideas that that utilise the generation or exploitation of knowledge and information to generate new experiences and innovative business opportunities.
Ideas that that support the protection and improvement of the environment.
Ideas that improve the lives and social wellbeing of people and communities.
Ideas that focus on the application of new and emerging technologies to provide potentially radical and disruptive solutions to real-world problems.
The 2017 winners were announced at an awards ceremony at the University in December.
