This course is designed primarily for those interested in a career in the accounting profession and will grant you significant exemptions from the professional examinations of the main UK accounting bodies. Through the work placement year, you will gain relevant experience with a high-calibre UK accounting firm.

Our graduates are extremely well-placed to pursue careers in chartered accountancy. An integral part of the course involves building your commercial awareness, confidence and employability through workshops with the likes of Accenture, Deloitte and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Business mentors from BDO, Ernst & Young, Grant Thornton and KPMG provide guidance throughout the course.

Accrediting organisations

This is a professionally oriented degree programme developed in consultation with the ICAEW. Completion of the core course units on this programme will ensure you receive substantial exemptions from the ICAEW's professional qualification, the ACA (Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales). A significant number of exemptions are also available from other professional accounting qualifications, including ACCA, CIMA and ICAS.
