Everyday business activities have become technology dependent and there is increasing demand for graduates whose skills cover the challenging middle ground between business and IT. This group of courses was developed jointly by the Tech Partnership and over 60 blue chip employers.

Grades AAB. General Studies is normally accepted if one of four A-levels passed in the same sitting. Language subjects will be considered on an individual basis. Critical Thinking and Use of Mathematics are not accepted.

Typical International Baccalaureate offer

35 points overall with 6,6,5 in Higher Level subjects.

Students without GCSE/IGCSE Maths and English Language at grade B (or 6) will need 5 in Standard Level Maths (or Maths Studies) and English (we can accept either Language A: English Language and Literature or Language B: English). We do not currently accept Language A: Literature for the purposes of meeting our English language subject requirements.

Developed in collaboration with the Tech Partnership  and leading global blue-chip employers, Information Technology Management for Business (ITMB) aims to create `the ideal graduate' whose skills cover the challenging middle ground between business and IT. This particular ITMB course includes the opportunity to specialise in accounting alongside IT and business.

Our flexible ITMB degree courses share a common first year before allowing you to focus on your chosen specialism to enhance your career prospects. Since these degrees are identical in the first year, transfer between them is straightforward, so you should apply for only one of them.

Accenture, BBC, BT, Credit Suisse, Deloitte, IBM, Unilever and many other companies help to deliver the course through project work, guru lectures, student mentoring and a range of professional development activities.

Fees

Tuition fees for home/EU students commencing their studies in September 2018 will be announced once confirmed by the UK government. As a guide, the 2017 tuition fees were £9,250 per annum for home/EU students, and are expected to increase slightly for 2018 entry. Tuition fees for international students will be £22,000 per annum. Scholarships/sponsorships

The Manchester Bursary is available to any student who is registered on an eligible first undergraduate degree course at Manchester and who has had a full financial assessment carried out by Student Finance. Visit our student finance pages for more detailed information.

In addition to this support, Alliance Manchester Business School will be awarding five Undergraduate Scholarships for Social Responsibility worth £2,000 p.a. across three years of study to UK students achieving AAA at A-level (or equivalent) who are able to demonstrate a significant contribution and commitment to social responsibility.
