The programme will be delivered by the School’s Business and Human Rights Catalyst and will provide senior executives with an in-depth and innovative understanding of the challenges and opportunities for improving business performance and human rights.

Reforms to the way doctors are regulated by the General Medical Council have introduced new periodic checks of ‘fitness to practise’ for all doctors in the United Kingdom. Together with colleagues at the Universities of Manchester, York and Plymouth we have been researching how they have worked.

A research project led by academics at the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research will provide insight into how firms in the European energy sector can transform their business by embracing disruptive innovations.
The project, which is funded by the Lord Alliance strategic fund, takes a business ecosystem perspective by studying the change in dynamics of utilities’ strategic alliances with new partners active in the field of sustainable energy.
