Halyma Begum

With a profound focus on Race and Gender equality, Halyma serves as an inclusion expert, partnering with Members and Clients to advance their organisational inclusion agendas. Her mission is to empower inclusive leaders in creating diverse cultures where every individual feels a genuine sense of belonging.

Halyma brings a wealth of experience to her role, having served as a Senior Inclusion Manager before her current position at DIAL Global, she contributed significantly to Business In The Community and had a successful career at Co-op Group. During her tenure at Co-op, Halyma held pivotal roles such as Learning and Development Manager and People Advisor, concentrating on Leadership Development and fostering Inclusive Cultures.

Her expertise extends beyond the corporate world, as Halyma actively engages in community and social initiatives. She served on the Inclusion Advisory Panel for Co-op Academies, demonstrating her commitment to education and equality. Additionally, Halyma chaired the Greater Manchester Combined Authorities Women's and Girls’ Equality Panel, advocating for representation and equality for women in education, skills, and employment, while also addressing the crucial issue of Gender-Based Violence.

As a testament to her commitment to humanitarian causes, Halyma serves as a Trustee for Refugee Action. Her involvement in this capacity reflects her dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of refugees and displaced individuals.
