How to apply for a Masters degree course
A step-by-step guide to the application process.
Our courses are very popular so don't wait until you finish your studies to apply.
The application process
Due to the high volume of applications, we are no longer accepting new applications for any of the School's taught masters courses for entry in September 2017.
The online application form for all courses for entry in September 2018 will open in the third week of September 2017, and applications will be processed from October 2017.
Once applications are open for 2018 entry, follow the steps below to ensure the application process goes as smoothly as possible.
The final decision on your application is made by the Alliance MBS Masters Admissions Office and a member of the team will contact you directly.
If you are made an offer, find out how to accept your place >>
Staged admissions process
As there is high demand for our courses we operate a staged admissions process with selection deadlines throughout the year. Due to the competition for places, we give preference to students with grades above our minimum entry requirements.
The stages for entry in September 2018 will be published on 25 September, 2017.
Whilst we aim to give you a decision on your application by the deadline date, in some instances due to the competition for places and the volume of applications received, it may be necessary to roll your application forward to the next deadline date. If this is the case we will communicate this to you after the deadline date.
Note that there will be fewer places available at each stage, and that all places are subject to availability. We encourage you to apply as early as possible as we may have to close courses once they are full.
Applications received after the final selection deadline will be considered at our discretion, if places are still available.
Apply before finishing your undergraduate degree
We can accept your application before you complete your studies. You need to submit your latest transcripts with your online application, together with the other supporting documents.
If you are applying for a finance-related course you will also need to include a list of your final year units.
If you are applying for one of the courses below you need to pay an application fee of £60.00 (Pounds Sterling). The fee is non-refundable and your application will not be processed until we receive the payment. You only need to pay the fee once if you are applying for multiple courses.

If you have applied for a British Chevening Scholarship or Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) Scholarship you do not need to pay the application fee, although you must submit evidence with your application. No other application fee waivers are considered.
