Hong Kong Centre volunteers race the streets for charity

The Centre fielded no fewer than 12 volunteers in four different teams for the Salvation Army’s Hong Kong Orienteering Challenge 2018 to raise money for special needs children.

The teams included both alumni and current students and Christina Siu, East Asia Centre Director praised all those who entered: “All our competitors enjoyed the two-hour challenge, which included some light-hearted fun moments but had the satisfaction of knowing that, aligned with the University’s stated objective of producing socially responsible leaders, they had contributed to the welfare of those less fortunate than themselves.”
