Ideas take off with a Flying Starter Award from the Masood Entrepreneurship Centre

The Flying Starter fund is a grant of up to £2000 from the Masood Entrepreneurship Centre for staff at The University of Manchester to explore an early stage start-up business idea.

Awards

Available every month until the end of the current academic year, 31 July 2021.

Funding up to £2000 is available for staff to test their entrepreneurial idea, find out if the idea is viable, learn more about what is needed to progress the idea and even create a prototype product.

For successful award winners, we will provide informative workshops to hone your business cases together with a range of mentoring opportunities to ensure your enterprises continue to flourish.

This funding opportunity is open to University of Manchester staff only.
