Global MBA ranked 5th in the world

Alliance Manchester Business School’s Global MBA has been ranked by global business school analyst QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) as 3rd in the UK and 5th in the world.

With students increasingly turning to the online MBA as a more flexible, cost-effective method of furthering their career development goals, and with an increasing number of accredited schools adding an online MBA option, QS’s list offers independent comparative insight on provider quality. The 2021 table is the largest yet, ranking the world’s top 57 online MBA programmes.

The Manchester Part-time Global MBA is delivered in a flexible blended format, combining online learning with workshop residencies at a choice of international locations. It offers as much face-to-face teaching as some full-time MBAs – and the same qualification – yet students study on campus just three times a year.

Xavier Duran, MBA Programmes Director at Alliance MBS said: “Our position in the QS ranking reflects the international reputation and quality of our Global MBA. Our blended online and face-to-face format is highly international and extremely flexible. This has enabled us to continue delivering our highly-engaging Global MBA workshops virtually during the past year to students around the world.”

Nunzio Quacquarelli, CEO at QS Quacquarelli Symonds, said: “Online MBA programmes across the world were increasingly reporting higher learner demand prior to the pandemic, and we anticipate that this rise in student interest will only increase in the current climate. As more business schools seek to place their offerings in front of potential students, our results will continue to help prospective students differentiate between the myriad options now available to them, using independent data and a methodology carefully-crafted to capture the quality of the online learning experience.”
