This blended learning MBA combines courses from Kelley's highly-ranked online MBA programme with courses from Alliance Manchester Business School's flagship MBA. The Kelley-Manchester Global MBA degree offers a larger proportion of online MBA teaching than our part-time MBA, but you still get the chance to study and network with your peers at immersive workshop residentials at a choice of eight global locations.

Blended delivery

The Kelley-Manchester Global MBA combines the world's best online MBA teaching with immersive, face-to-face teaching at a choice of 8 global locations. The result is a flexible MBA that is a truly international experience.

Workshop schedule

Semester 1: 6 days at the Kelley School of Business in Bloomington, Indiana

Semester 2: 6 days at any Alliance MBS global centre

Semester 3: All online or online + a 5-day public policy workshop residential in Washington DC

Semester 4: 6 days at any Alliance MBS global centre

Online learning

Half of the courses on the Kelley-Manchester Global MBA are delivered online by Kelley School of Business, Indiana - a world leader in online learning. Kelley's rigorous curriculum is delivered online in a flexible, interactive format that works for busy professionals, so you can advance your career while you continue to manage other responsibilities in your life. You'll learn from the same respected faculty that teach on the School's residential programmes - award winning, accessible teachers who will recharge your thinking on business. Kelley will also deliver a class from Washington D.C., providing a well-rounded immersive experience.

Face-to-face teaching

Half of the courses on the Kelley-Manchester Global MBA are delivered by Alliance MBS. These courses typically include an intensive three-day workshop delivered by our most senior faculty - a chance to step away from your day job and immerse yourself in the world of global business.

Since opening our doors in 1965 as one of the UK’s first business schools, we have set ourselves apart with a focus on ‘learning by doing’. Our practical approach teaches MBAs to apply theory to live business challenges, think creatively and become opinion leaders.

Global immersion

You can study Alliance MBS electives at a choice of six global centres: Dubai, Hong Kong, Manchester, São Paulo, Shanghai and Singapore. This is an opportunity to study alongside dynamic minds from across the globe and make valuable contacts. You will gain fresh perspectives and explore new ways of doing business. Plus, exclusively to this joint MBA, you will have the opportunity to study at Kelley's campuses in Bloomington, Indiana and Washington DC.

The fee for the Kelley-Manchester MBA is $65,000 and can be paid in instalments.

Entry is competitive and we take a holistic view when we evaluate candidates. We’re looking for the most talented MBAs with the highest potential. 

We’re not just looking for candidates with the most experience or the best test scores. We use a wide variety of criteria to evaluate applications, including academic credentials, fast career progression, leadership characteristics and entrepreneurial talent. We also assess your potential to contribute to and enhance your class’s professional and cultural diversity.

Entry requirements at a glance

  • Minimum of three years’ post-graduation work experience with strong, consistent career progression and achievement
  • Good undergraduate degree or international equivalent
  • Satisfactory GMAT® and GRE® or Manchester Admissions Test score
  • Professional accountancy qualification (Finance Accelerated pathway only)

    Alliance Manchester Business School was established in Manchester in 1965 as one of the UK's first two business schools. We are now the UK's largest campus-based business and management school. Research-led, we deliver industry-focused business and management education at all levels.

    Established in 2006, the Middle East Centre is our fastest-growing overseas centre with one of the region's largest MBA communities. The centre delivers the Global Part-time MBA, MSc International Healthcare Leadership, Executive Education, MBA electives and the Full-time MBA Dubai Study Tour.

  • hong kong

    The East Asia Centre is located in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong and attracts executives from Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, South China & Taiwan to study the Global Part-time MBA. It was our first overseas centre established in 1992 and also delivers electives for all our MBA programmes.

  • sao paulo

    The South America Centre was established in 2008 and delivers the Global Part-time MBA in conjunction with FGV-EBAPE, Brazil's most established business school. Students from our other MBA programmes can also visit the centre to study MBA Electives.

  • shanghai

    Located at the heart of Shanghai, our China Centre was established in 2008. It offers a range of programmes including the Global Part-time MBA, Tongji-Manchester Global MBA, a joint DBA with Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Executive Education. The centre also hosts the Full-Time MBA China Study Tour and MBA Electives.

    As pioneers in transnational education, we've had a presence in Singapore since 1992 and opened the South East Asia Centre in 1999. Delivering the Global Part-time MBA, Executive Education and MBA electives, the centre is located in Singapore's central business district.
