Grades AAB. General Studies is normally accepted if one of four A-levels passed in the same sitting. Language subjects will be considered on an individual basis. Critical Thinking and Use of Mathematics are not accepted.

35 points overall with 6,6,5 in Higher Level subjects.

Students without GCSE/IGCSE Maths and English Language at B (or 6) will need 5 in Maths and English at Standard Level.

We accept Maths, Maths Studies, Language A: English Language and Literature and Language B: English. Language A: Literature is not accepted.

Fees

Fees for entry in 2018 have not yet been set. For entry in 2017 the tuition fees were £9,250 per annum for home/EU students, and are expected to increase slightly for 2018 entry.

You will receive a significant tuition fee discount for the exchange year.

Additional expenses

Additional costs for the year abroad include accommodation, food, textbooks, health insurance and travel. You may be eligible for additional financial support from your LEA.

Scholarships/sponsorships

The Manchester Bursary is available to any student who is registered on an eligible first undergraduate degree course at Manchester and who has had a full financial assessment carried out by Student Finance. Visit our student finance pages for more detailed information.

In addition to this support, Alliance Manchester Business School will be awarding five Undergraduate Scholarships for Social Responsibility worth £2,000 p.a. across three years of study to UK students achieving AAA at A-level (or equivalent) who are able to demonstrate a significant contribution and commitment to social responsibility.
